Wow. Some people in this world really need a lesson in kindness. I realize that people have their opinions but sometimes those opinions are best left to themselves. Is it not bad enough the internet is filled with so much hate and judgment? I am not perfect…and I have said mean things in a state of frustration and anger, however I do not go out of my way to seek ways to hurt someone’s feelings. Nor do I judge people for their lifestyles, usually my “mean things” are in response to something that someone has done to me…and after I realize I need to be a bigger person. I also feel horrible about the person I am when I have done something wrong. It is stories like this that make me realize that words are impactful…and for good and bad.
A woman was on the train, just going about her day, and was handed this card.
Who are these people to think they are some sort of level to go around judging others. I am sure they do wrong in their lives. They may be slender, they may eat healthy, and may think they are perfect, but without even knowing them, I know they are not perfect. If we continue to walk around comparing ourselves to others and pointing out WHY we are better than a stranger, we are losing what makes us human. Compassion. Friendliness. Empathy. Intelligent.
The woman posted the picture on Facebook with this comment:
In a world of hate, and violence…do we really need this? To the people that think they are “doing good” for the world….check yourself. For the positive people out there…it’s time for us to spread MORE LOVE than ever.
