Brace yourself for this news, today (Nov 15) is the 20th anniversary of the movie Space Jam!
You remember Space Jam, right?! The movie that combined Looney Tunes, Michael Jordan and Bill Murray. It also made $230 million at the box office.
Well, on Monday night (Nov 14) Jordan Brand’s Twitter account started tweeting some pretty odd stuff AND the account changed its name to ‘Monstars’, which was the team name of the villains in Space Jam.
[WE] [REBOUND] [THE]— Monstars (@Jumpman23) November 15, 2016
 [DESTROY] [MONSTARS]
[XXXI] [COSMOS] [D̶E̶F̶Y̶] [ARE]
[M̭O̭R̭O̭Ṋ ̭M̭O̭ṶṊṰA̭I̭Ṋ] [BACK]
It didn’t take very long, at all, for fans to decode the tweet.
And today they were at it again!
Earlier this year, Lebron James told ‘The Today Show‘ that a Space Jam sequel could happen but there hasn’t been much news since. So, we’ll have to wait and see if these tweets are just a tribute to the 1996 film or if it’s a way to hype the sequel!
