2016 & 2017 will forever by plagued by the memory of “dress code debates.”
And thanks to United Airlines there’s another incident you need to add to the list. The gist is that the airline has a specific dress code for family/friends of staff who play using a “special pass.” This weekend 2 teenage girls traveling with the pass were denied boarding their flight for wearing leggings and forced to put dressed over their outfits which ultimately lead to them missing their flight. Although they did no complain another passenger over heard the confrontation, tweeted about it and then celebs jumped to the girls’ defense.

Yup! William Shatner not only shared a photo of himself in leggings but he also continued to tweet about the issue all weekend and it was clear whose side he was on.
He even got his fans in on the trolling of United Airlines seemingly arbitrary dress-code.
