Came across this article where a cosmetic surgeon was talking about the rise in botox requests. To be honest, I am not one to judge procedures. It is your body and face, you do you. The point that freaked me out…was that women in their 20’s are going for procedures!
Screen time is to blame for the early set of wrinkles. Scrunched faces, staring at screens, leaving us with forehead lines and crow’s feet. We spend about 25 hours a week staring at screens (and to be honest I feel that is a little low)
How do we stop though? Most of our jobs are looking at computers, or emails, phones, SCREENS!! I guess taking a break more frequently.
The last time I got down about my face’s condition was because I was dehydrated. The skin was dry, the frowning lines were lingering. I decided to go get a facial, moisturize it, and maintain. Honestly, I NEVER treat myself, but this was worth it. It is my face! I cleanse and moisturize every day…something that I had neglected. I still have the scrunchy lines appear on my forehead but they don’t linger.
We are getting wrinkles TEN YEARS earlier…and I am OK with smile lines…but if my face is scrunched up because of a screen, I choose to push that off a bit if possible
