Women having greater representation on screen is so important and ‘Wonder Woman’ starring Gal Gadot has helped to drive that point home.
On Sunday (June 11) director Patty Jenkins tweeted a screenshot of a list sent to her by someone who works with kindergartners further proving the film has had a profound impact on youngsters.
At the start of the list is says, “I work at a kindergarten and this is a collection of cute Wonder Woman related things that happened within a week of the movie being released.”
The last paragraph had a particular impact on Gadot. It reads, “Consider this your friendly reminder that this movie has completely changed the way these girls and boys thought about themselves and the world in one week, imagine what the next generation will achiever if we give them more movies like ‘Wonder Woman’.”
Is it weird if these kindergartners are a 30-something-year-old’s heroes?!
